Rear Wiper Spring

I just installed a longer (by 2") wiper on my rear wiper arm. It rained yesterday, however the wiper only cleaned 2/3 of the window. At the extreme point of travel (when it starts heading back down) it cleaned all of the window.

I went back and held the wiper against the window as it was moving, which cleaned the whole window. So, do I just need a new spring? The old one worked fine with the old wiper, so I guess I need a better spring...possibly from some home store or Wal-Mart. Has anyone replaced there spring with a better one?

SOunds like you need a new wiper arm. Or the new blade you put on it too much for the spring to handle and even an new arm will not help.
