Since I went wheeling the otherday, the rear wiper will come on by itself with the switch turned off.

When I was down-jacking the rear after getting unstuck with my hi-lift, the jack pushed the wiper arm up but didn't break it. It just cycled through and came back on the rest stop. Since, it will sporatically come on. I removed the wiper arm as it was annoying the pi$$ out of me.

Anyone know what would cause it to work while the switch is off?

don't know but just pull the fuse

Thanks, but I don't think I can just remove and install the fuse when I need to use it. Too much of a driving risk for me!

Any other suggestions?

Is my truck HAUNTED!!

mine will cut on but then get stuck over on the far side idk why but it does then i cancut it off and it will come back over and start working but is off cut on the switch and back off and it stops idk wierd

wanna trade mine doesn't work at all???

Looking at my wiring diagrams, it looks liekt eh wiper has a relay that is turned to "off" when the switch at the front is clicked to off. Look for any wires that have crossed in the back beghind the liftgate panel....

Same Problem!

. . . with my '91. I pulled the fuse. I really never used the rear wipe much and besides, there are side mirrors.

Crankcase

Thanks for the info! That is most helpful. Since the panel will be off, it will be a good time to install some sound deadner back there for my sub.
