Rear wiper

the rear wiper on my 98 XLT doesn't sweep correctly. On the first half of the swipe it doesn't make contact with the window. It doesn't seem to be bent and goest back into place just fine when I turn it off. Could it be as simple as just needing a new blade or the fact that this one was put on wrong? I think the previous owner replaced it.

look at gijoe's post in this thread. Try that, and if it doesnt work, you probably need a new wiper motor.

I'm by no means an expert, only having my X for a few months. However, I had the same problem and it got worse real fast untill the rear wiper didn't work at all. About $30 (Advance Auto) for the motor and all is well. Easy job putting it in as well.
