So in my dash I have a button to push thats supposed to shoot out some wiper fluid on the window on the hatch and then clean it off. The problem is when I push it the wiper wipes but no fluid comes out. The bigger problem is that I can't find that reservoir anywhere. Any ideas? It's a 2001 sport. Thanks.

The rear reservoir is the same as the front. There might be a kink in the little hose on the wiper assembly.

that means there must be a hose issue. i use the fluid on the front windshield all the time. Thanks.

by the way, thanks for the quick reply. that was a pretty impressive turn-around time. especially for after midnight.

my reservior is in the back when you open the trunck door on the left side

Mine is also in the back where the jack is stored. But mine is also a 97 so a bit older.

I think they moved to the shared reservoir in '98. I've had both (owned a '93, '97, 99 and '00)

my 96xls had the resevoir in the back with the jack, my 2000xlt shares.

Well, That seals it for me. Pre '00's rule! (At least when it comes to wiper fluid capacities.)

:D

are you holding down the button or are you just pressing it? you must hold it down for fluid to come out.

haha i knew that was the problem, i use my rear wiper all the time. no prob.

i dont think i would have admitted to that one

thats what happens when you don't read any manuals... i would get used to stupid questions like that from me...
