Recall 25S35 concerns PCM software problems which required me to bring my 2025 Explorer in for a reflash and a transmission inspection. My transmission didn’t pass inspection (although it’s working perfectly) and is scheduled to be replaced two months from now. Apparently the software glitch could allow the transmission to try to go into park while moving, thereby damaging the parking paul. Has anyone else had this?

Thank you for the update. This is the first time I am hearing of this. I had an issue with the car not shifting into gear. I called for the AAA to get it towed to the Dealership and the Explorer started right up. I scheduled an appointment at the dealership to get the software updated. They told me that they cant do that unless the car is not working. I told them that my car left me stranded and then they agreed to do it. No issues since then.

Welcome to the Forum.
A quick search ( upper right) shows that there is already a thread on this recall.
