Recall on 95 X

I just talked with a friend of mine today with a 95 explorer and he said that Ford just sent him a letter about a recall that has something to do with the rear sway bar. He took it down to the local dealership and they bolted on a brand new sway bar. I was just wondering if anyone else had received one of these yet, and if so what years are affected? Thanx.

Wow the rear swaybar too? I had my front sway bar links replaced already. Are you sure he doesn't me front sway bar links? I haven't recieved the recall.

Yea, if your friend got a letter, he would be the first on this forum. The fronts were about 6 months ago but, some people didn't get the letter until recently.

Please let us know if you can verify that it was a recall on the rear swaybars,

Man i don't even know if my rear one got replaced. it was dads car 6 months ago and is just recently now mine. I'll ask him tomorrow
