recall questions

i was just wondering

what are the procedures to getting a part that has been recalled replaced?

do i have to get a letter in the mail?
doi just take it to Ford and say i would like this recall fixed, if it hasn't already?

Go to Fords website and enter your VIN# then you will find out if you have any recalls that need done
