I'm currantly in the process of fixing my ride control, so I am knee deep in this topic already. To keep the ride control your only option is a ford shock. I found a motorcraft wholesaler who sells them for $180 each which is outragous yet a fraction of what the dealer price is.($259 ea) the easy and inexpensive option is "killing" your ride control and replacing the rear shocks with a coil over setup like a "load leveler" most shock manufacturers have a variation of thes for $70 ish a pair this will maintain your ride height in back, the front just use a standard shock ,ride height should not be affected if so adjust your torsion bars. as for the warnings on the message center a quick snip of the two wires from the arc module (email me if you need the wire colors) and problem solved then remove the rest of the arc garbage. If I were more ambitious... I would look into modifying a set of aftermarket air shocks to work with the system I think its possible atleast for the rear.
