'96 Explorer v-6 4.0l 100k miles kid's car driven mostly around town not on the highway. About every three months I get these two codes thrown (cyl3/cyl4 misfire) always together. Pull the plugs they look OK, clean them out the codes return in a wek. If I replace the plugs, I can go 3 months or so with no problem. Not getting any hesitation, engine runs strong and smooth. Since the cyclinders are on a diffrent head that may rule out a blown head, also the fact the plugs look clean points clear. Now changing 2 plugs is cheap and easy, but I am curious if there is a root cause. Plug wires are about 50k so I was thinkning that coul be an issue with a possibility of leaking current in those two.

Thanks.
