We have a 1999 Ford Ranger 4x4 with a 4.0 with California Emission. It keeps throwing slow response oxygen codes even though we have replaced the following:
Oxygen Senors (Upper and Lower)
IAC Valve
TBS Switch
Mass Air Flow
Upper and Lower Intake Manifold Gaskets
EGR Control Valve
Temperature sensor for computer
All components to california emission control canister
gas cap
We also installed a thicker set of plenum gaskets in case others were warped.
I've also checked for vacuum leaks in the engine and hoses to no effect.
Any suggestions??
