Red ring around my EX?

Hello All,
I was sitting in the left turn lane the other day in an ice storm when a plane flew over my EX shaking the vehicle a little. (Yes it was close, near the end of a runway) The aerial of my car that shows up when I am backing up came on suddenly with a red ring all the way around it while at the same time the buzzing sensors went off. It then quit. I got home and when backing into the driveway it did it again. Would you chalk it up to the sensors being covered with ice or do I need to have something looked at? Thanks

The sensors definitely should be clear but I don't know why you only get the warning when backing up. I believe those "surround" proximity sensors are active all the time when driving.

Oh no, I was going forward when under the plane and backing up. Both time there wasn't anything remotely close to me. When I got out of the EX once in the garage the entire front was covered in ice. Didn't look at the back....
