I WANTED TO FIND OUT WHAT IT WOULD COST TO REGAER. I WANT TO GO TO 33'S WITH THE PROCOMP SPINDLE LIFT. WHAT GEARS WOULD I NEED IF I EVEN NEED TO REGAER. I HAVE NO CLUE, HELP ME OUT. THANKS

To keep your ratio as close to your current setup as possible, you will probably need 4.56. You could make due with 4.10s though. What is your current tire size and what are your current gears? Multiply any given RPM by 1.11 and that will be the difference in RPM between the 4.10s and the 4.56. For example at 2500 RPM with 4.10s, you would be at 2775 RPM.

If you are running a spindle lift, then you are a 2wd, right? Your cost will be a lot cheaper if that's the case. First - you need to read the code on the pumpkin tag or on the door of your truck to get the axle code. This will tell you your ratio. Without knowing your ratio, it is tough to tell where to go. Nest - how do you drive your truck? Street only? Off-road only? A combination of that?

My truck came stock with 3.27's. I lifted and added 35's - then re-geared with 4.56's. Now I have about a 10% lower gearing than stock - giving me more torque than stock. This is a good mix for my needs. A quick estimate would be if you have 3.73's, move to 4.10's to be similar to stock. The easiest way to do this - if you are 2wd - is call a few bonyards and buy an axle off of a 95+ Explorer with 4.10 gears and a limited slip diff. Cost shouldn't be more than 400-500 dollars. You can sell you old axle on the jeep boards for a couple hundred and recoup some of your cost. If you decided to use new gears, the cost will be about $260 for the gears and install kit + about $300-500 in labor to install them.
