Regular key to key fob for 2016 Ford Expl PIU

Hello, I recently purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer PIU and it came with only one regular key (with a separate remote attached as in the picture below) My question is: is it possible to have the regular key replaced with one of the newer key fob (also shown below)?

Yes!..I have a 2006 Explorer and always felt the old keys and fobs looked cheap and antiquated so I did my research and ordered the last key blade pictured in your post..think they were around 25 a piece..then called a Mobil locksmith to come to my home and he quoted me about $200 ..it took him all of 20 min to cut and program each key and fob..every button worked perfectly and even came with a bonus button to unlock the back liftgate window,..my actuator on the tailgate itself hasn't worked so I was pleased...One drawback is that I've set off the alarm by butt dialing the panic button.

M not sure about later years..all I know is they worked on my 2006-10
