Under air filter? Sprayed carb cleaner all around. No engine surging.

I back over a curb night before all this happened. Quite a jolt. Will check again for any piping Jared. Loose. Odd exhaust system rattle. Could be leaking past O2 sensor that gets reported as lean burning.

Beginning to think this is all a vacuum leak. While I did have a long time P0340 Cam Shaft Position sensor I replaced (also replaced Crack shaft sensor) the P1309 Misfire, none of those errors returned.

Having both banks lean, and your running/not running sure sounds like a blown intake gasket to me. It runs fine, then it gets hot, then it expands, and then, well, it runs like crap or it stalls.

This does not explain the dreaded 1309 code, but what your describing sounds like the intake went south. Just throwing this out there to check is all.

Vanna....give me a "v" for trip to Disneyland!

Spoiler - 10" black electrical tape for temporary fix.

Engine running lean. Let's rephrase that - too little gas or too much air.

The lean burning is derived from high O2 in the two upstream O2 sensors. Unlikely both would fail at same tine.

Insufficient fuel. Filter replaced, squels tires when I floor it and hit 3,000 RPM. A fuel pump delivers same amount across power curve, so not a fuel pump problem.

Too much air. Replaced air filter, cleaned MAF sensor, hoses tight.

But I missed one! Three inch split. Taped it over, idles at expected 600-700 RPM. Will get length rubber hose in morning.

Nice
Glad you were able to get it fixed up!

To add insult to injury....
Once every three or four weeks, battery dead. Starts right up, and hour later dead pattern. Like last night.
Bad cell I guess. Replaced it.
