Removing Sway Bars???

I have 2.5" lift spacers and I know my travel is reduced now, thinking about removing the rear sway bar. Anyone done it? How is the handling vs. articulation gain? I think Im just going to make extended end links for the front.

I can't speak for a 3rd gen, bit on our 1st and our 2nd gen, I took the rear off completely and disconnect the front at the trailhead while airing down.
