replace new throttle body

I got a 2007 ford explorer, I replace the a new throttle body and the idle goes really high. Anybody can help with this problem.

What is your engine?
4.6 or 4.0?

Either v6 or v8 Replacing or cleaning the electronic throttle body always needs a pcm reset inorder for the pcm to relearn the idle trim or value. Your issue is the pcm is doing idle hunt and it will take a long time for the pcm to learn its idle.
