Thanks for all the help with the oil sender problem. Turned out by searching for the stupid thing from above I must of touched the right wire and now the gauge is working again. New quest: Want to replace shocks, I believe they are originals. Stock,2wd,3.0,automatic, basic transportation to work, light hauling , want a better ride. What kind to replace with? Monroe,Gabriels ?? Opinions/suggestions welcomed.

Although Bilsteins are our best seller for trucks and SUV's Monroe would be better than Gabriel. Either the Reflex or Sensatracs - http://www.shockwarehouse.com/index.cfm?mode=results&selected_model=4032&selected_year=1993.

Upgrade from OEM.

I installed Sensa-tracs on my 98 4x4 two weekends ago. They replaced the originals and I'm VERY pleased with the new ride. Not only is the ride smoother, but the truck is much quieter too.
