I had to replace my battery in my 1999 Mounty. It has the Mach stereo system in it with the rear mounted sub/amp. After i hooked up the new battery everything else works fine except my stereo head unit is completely dead and will not power on. I checked the fuse and it is not blown, I pulled the HU out of the dash and the connections are fine. I have no idea what could have caused this, please are there any suggestions/ideas? Thank you.

Did you disconnect the negative first and replace the negative last? If not, you might've blown the amp in the unit. I would imagine the fuse would blow first though. Even if it doesn't look blown, try another fuse just as a dummy precaution.
