I just replaced my radiator because of this i had to remove the transmission cooling lines. After i removed this transmission oil came crashing down off the tubes. Almost 1 cup of transmission oil drained :(

Do i have to refill the transmission oil? It is very expensive :(

I did not use clamp on the transmission lines would that be fine? It is very difficult to screw in the tiny clamps since they are hard to reach. I am thinking of getting a small ear clamp however.

yes, you need to. If you lose a cup then just inject a cup back. It's not that straightforward though since there's no dipstick. A quart is $6, if you don't have the adapters and pump to inject trans fluid back, you might spend another $15-20 (maybe)

When the truck is running check the trans dip stick, this will tell you for sure if you need more or you are in the okay window

Good one Josh

Any clues? It is difficult to replace the transmission oil without the proper tools. I would need a jack stand and lifts.

It's very easy just get the refill adapter and a fluid pump the kind that resembles a soap dispenser. Vehicle level idling in PARK remove the inner drain plug with a TORX bit, then install the adapter in it's place. Fit the pump tubing to the adapter, and pump some MercV in. Then let the transmission warm up to 120°F or so, and pull the tubing from the pump, if you have enough in there it will be running back out into your drain pan, just let it drain til it just drips.

For the Pump and Adapter do you know if they are available in Orielly or Autozone stores? Do i need a jack stand for this proceedure? Huhu. I called AAMCO and am getting charged 66 dollars just for this and I am badly broke.

I used a barb fitting like this from the local hardware stored. Cost about $1.

I used this pump from Amazon: Plews 55001 Lubrimatic Fluid Quart Pump

Whatever you do don't get the blue pump from Orielly that looks likes a syringe. You will have a bad time.

You also need a Torx for the fill hole (T30 I think)

I'm pretty sure it needs to be level on the group so jack stands are a no go. I did mine without them as I could reach the fill hole without jacking it up.

I found a similar tool in home depot. Barry can you confirm if this is the tool.
Hope this is the tool:
