Replaced Sensor Now Abs Engages, 4hi/lo blinks!!

Hey guys I replaced my rear speed sensor as it was throwing a code primary for that and secondary for my accelerator switch. I located both sprayed my accel switch with contact cleaner and replaced my primary code on the rear speed sensor. put back in checked rear diff for any metal shavings, looks clean. NOW the abs engages @ under 10mph to stop and my 4hi/lo flash for about 10 seconds every couple of minutes. No 4wheel drive, No control trac (tried in yard)... WHAT in the world is wrong the problem got 10x worse I'm better off with abs light on!!! does anyone have any insight to this? I'm going to pull codes again I hope its not accelerator switch but we'll see...

Well I got no response but I did fix this problem so I thought I would post this as maybe it will help someone in the future who suffers the same issue

The problem was that I didn't have the sensor seated correctly in the rear diff. Solution:

1. Removed sensor and placed a piece of paper towel down in the hole to prevent anything from entering my diff
2. I cleaned the wall of the hole out with some cleaner to remove anything there.
3. I took a buffer and cleaned the mounting surface until it was free of rust, build up etc etc.
4. put small amount of grease on the sensor ring and pushed it in until I heard a click (at this point a screw will simply hold and not pull the sensor in any further, was my issue most likely)

Now in closing this did trip my Accelerator switch code and when I reset the codes and drove it no more abs the speed sensor prior was not reading below 11mph in the data so it thought my rear was locked up on brake situations. After cleaning and reinstal all sensors read +/- .5 mph. long story short... problem gone.

I hope someone uses this in the future the moral to this story is dont' slap a new sensor in like i did just to get it done. had I taken my time and done it right there would be no issue from getgo. Take care guys
