I changed the shift solenoid on my 93 explorer and put it back together and had to add 5 quarts of tranny fluid. It will not shift into any gear like its stuck in park. Right now its on ramps and I can't move it. It wont even go into neutral so I can push it. I put everything back together right i think. I hooked up the red wires to the tcc solenoid and the blue wires to the shift solenoid. Do the wires have to be wired up a certain way? Thats the only thing I can think of.

I went to pull a part and got a whole nother valve body and put it in but now it will go but slipps real bad. I have to rev it up a little for it to go into gear. I only put 4 quarts of fluid in it this time.

No I didn't add fluid whilw it was running. I did check it and cycle the gears while it was running. I had to add 2 more quarts but it still won't shift to 3rd or od. I'm goin 45 mph at 3000 rpms. I'll check the fluid again and add while running if its still low but I've put 6 quarts in.
