Any recommendations for a replacement battery for an 05 XLT V-8? Stick with Motorcraft, or some other brand? Thanks!

For many years I swore by Delco......had 'em last 5 or more years even back then ('60s). I heard later GM sold (??) the Delco Division, so.....unknown after.

Truckers seem to favor "Interstate". In general, tho, given a particular group size, of the many different makes, the heaviest one will prove to be the best. imp

Motorcraft batteries have been the most reliable I've found. All my vehicles are Ford (except one) and the Motorcraft brand have outlasted any others, especially DieHards and Delcos.

I would stick with the Motorcraft. May cost a little more than the typical parts store batteries but well worth the money.
