My radiator is leaking at the top tranmission cooling line fitting. I've already tightened it so much that I think the bolt will strip if I try any more. I don't know what to do to stop the leak. It only leaks when the engine is hot and I have to add water about once a week. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix that leak?

Next - if I have to replace the radiator - I would rather get one that is all copper. Does anyone know if I can get one all copper? If yes - where please.

Thanks again,
Dennis

You may want to try a radiator stop leak product. It is a temporary fix. I do not think that copper radiators ar available for explorers. Replacement radiators are not that expensive about $150. If you do search you should be able to find lots if info about radiators and their replacement.
