Ok, helping a friend out again. Was able to replace his fuel pump and get the truck running well. Well, until recently. He told me he had a friend look at it and said that the flywheel chipped some teeth and it isn't engaging all the time. His friend said he could fix the issue for $300, which I think includes a new flexplate, but I said I would see what it would take and help him out if I can.
So what all is involved in replacing one, and how long do you think it would take? I priced the flexplate out at autozone and it's only $54.
