replacing motor mounts without removing catalytic converter?

I looked at a used explorer but even slightly revving the engine in park you could feel the mounts had gone bad. Looking at the service manual you need to remove the cats as well as supporting the engine with some specialty tools. Is there a DIYable way to do this?

Yes, looking at one with the 3.3 and hybrid. The extra torque seems to kill the mounts
