Evening all. I have a 98 Merc Mountaineer and it also has a PassTime starter-interrupt device on it and it is a very big hassel to me and my pregnant fiance because the payment it due before I even get my check and I don't want her or her mother to get stuck because the damn thing won't start. So if anyone has any information to remove the thing, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

From what I read, you must have some jacked up credit to have something like this. If you fail to make payments, the lender can shut the vehicle down, a la remote control style and then come repossess it.

Did anyone explain to you how it works? Are you financing your Mounty? If so, I'm sure it's illegal to take it off. If it's paid for, I would call one of the toll free numbers listed on the website.
