99 Explorer, black XLT, kind a' rough. Have had it for a couple of years because where we live we need a 4x4 to climb out of this little bowl we live in during the winter. I'm the sound guy at church 25 minutes away. Would never have bought an Explorer. Has always had a few things wrong with it, but now getting a little more serious. Door latches and locks.
Rain leaks that has a musty smell in the winter. Had to repair the back window hinges and have to keep an eye on those constantly. Ordered replacements but sent the wrong ones, manufactured the old ones to pass stainless steel allen screws through.
Washington State. Lots of rain except in summer.
OK, thats me. Now I'll go look for a forum for the door latch issues and possibly post my needs.
Oh, the reason we bought this old Explorer with a lot of smaller problems but a really good motor and drive train—we needed to sell our two Trail Blazers before they became TOTALLY worthless.
