Just returned from our 800 mile roadtrip to NW PA. The mpg for the first tank was about 20-21 with an avg. speed of 65. I did draft a few rigs from a safe distance on the way there to improve the mileage. Forgot to check the mpg of the second tank. I'd take a guess at 19-20 and I have yet to figure out the mileage for the 3rd tank, but I will post soon. I know the avg. speed was about 70-75, but there were alot of people who could not steady their speeds. I think the mpg is pretty good for a stock truck.

The truck performed very well with no problems, just the normal lack of acceleration at higway speeds and the occasional struggle up hills, other than that, no worries.

I also put a can of Seafoam in before we left and the truck ran smoothly up and down the hills. I definitely will use that more often.

Sorry to tell you all, but even though I had my camera ready, there wasn't anything good or interesting to take pictures of.

I can imagine from here to NW PA you saw a lot of grass. I'm guessing you have the V6 because my truck has plenty of power on the HWY...

I have the V6 and it has more than enough guts on the highway! :p:

I have the V6, acceleration from stationary is good, but highway acceleration is not as good.

Yah, I did see alot of grass; and mountains. It was fun thoug, I stayed at a lodge there and learned how to fly fish.

I couldn't figure out the mileage accurately because I wasn't sure how much gas I got out of it when I filled it up today. My dad says the gas attendent might have ripped me off because the mileage calculations were 16 mpg highway, which can't be right. I'll try to moniter my gas filling alot closer next time.
