So, some people have the reverse camera that shows on the rear view mirror and others have it showing in the radio display..
How can you change from one to the other?
Is it possible to switch via Forscan/FDRS, or is it a hardware change?

From some of my Internet search results, it seems to be just a wiring change.

I'm not referring to an aftermarket, but that's good to know. I'm referring to the stock radio screen in the PIU.
When I was shopping around for one, I found some had it in the display and others had it on the mirror. The one I ended up getting has it on the mirror and was wondering if this was something that could be changed in the computer to re-route the video. Since I have no idea why Ford would have setup some one way and some the other when they all come with the screen..

According to this wiring diagram, Pin25, and maybe 24, are for the camera.

Although I'm not positive, I don't think it matters if it's an aftermarket or OEM radio. It just seems to be a physical wiring reroute.
I doubt it can be done via FORScan or something similar since the wiring for the radio is likely missing.

According to this, the wiring just has to be spliced.

If I'm actually reading the diagram right..

Pins 2/3 from the camera (C4488) are wired to C922 pins 2/3, which then go to the mirror connecting on pins 8/16 (C9012).

But pins 2/3 on C922 also connect to pins 16/17 on C922 (C922 has a male and female) and head to pins 10/11 on C263 (which also has a male and female connector) which then feeds to C240A pins 25/14 (yes I numbered them correctly).

At least that's how they are supposed to go..

My C240A has the wires in 25/14, but I think they are not connected to anything on the other end.
