I have a 2002 XLT 2WD. It only has 1000 miles on it. Last weekend after taking my car at a gas station's carwash, my vehicle suddenly hesitated when I accelerate in reverse. At first I thought I hit the curve when I put it in reverse to park my car but I found out I was still a good meter away. I proceeded to drive about 17 miles and when I pulled out from a parking lot it hesitated again while in reverse. But this behavior suddenly disappeared in the days that followed. Should I be concerned about this? Does this mean I still need some more 'break-in' time since I only have about a thousand miles in it? Or is it because I use premium gasoline (it's cheap at Costco where I gas). Please advise.

BTW, I posted a message before regarding bad alignment of my rear door (where the lift gate is). S&C Ford fixed the problem but not completely. The left side is still about 1/4 inch higher than the right side. I'm so tempted to HAMMER it until it aligns but on second thought, I should probably throw the hammer at the Ford dealership...LOL

Thank you in advance.

Mark
