Tranny-92-Start,reverse,hesitate,clunk,go

Hi All....Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. 135k...Changed transmission fluid about 500 miles ago, no help.(also was flushed @ 80k). Is it tranny or maybe elsewhere in drive train. The hesitation is from 1 to 2 seconds and does OK once it gets goin'. Seems fine going forward. I tried searching some of the forums but I must not be very good at it if there is something there. Thanks for any help.....B.Ware

The delayed reverse is commonplace in high mileage A4LD's. Not hurting anything just let it engage before you get on the gas.

160K here and it does the same exact thing...been getting worse for a while...now can take as long as 15-20 seconds...(cant k turn..lol)

Got a rebuilt going in...Been told its pretty common. Also, some times flushing it will loosen up some solinoid...so maybe that will work. Good luck
