Hey guys, just wanted to post some results after I finished install on my reverse sensor. I grabbed it on ebay for $50 shipped. It took an afternoon to install. It came with a hole saw to drill out the bumper so the sensors were easy to pop in. I mounted the control unit above my jack, and ran the sensor wires in to it through the taillight. The display unit I mounted in the space above my HU. I used a custom cut faceplate to give it a nice finished look. Although the beeping is a little too loud, I'm very pleased with both function and looks. Here's some pictures. Let me know what you all think.

The sensors are the small silver circles on my bumper:

Nice!! I'm planning to do something like this to my Acura since the butt is so high and long. Comes to think about it, I think I need a set for the front bumper too since I've kinda trashed my front bumper hitting a curb.

How did it tie in to your reverse selector - or is it active all the time?

If it is, at least you'll get warning when someone rear-ends you...

looks good!

Nice work, the install came out very nice... The wife has the sensors in her Windstar and it works great... We see lots of minivans around hear with rear bumper damage so it is very nice option to have.

I had to tap into my back up lights, so it only comes on when you throw it into reverse.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

I need to find something like that for the front. I have the rear. It just beeps, no display. Front would be great!

I was in a Lexus the other day that had the back up camera.

That is WAY FRIGGIN' COOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
