Well, I just received a call from the Ford dealer service dept. My problem with the internal engine noise/rattle that I previously posted a thread on has been determined!
Cause of this rattle/noise is due to a cracked CamShaft Timing Chain Guide.
This means I will not have the truck back to me until Monday, due to the part order. But as said before, the dealer is looking after all of the cost. At least now I know what was wrong, and this is with only 76K Kilo’s.
Canadian, Eh!
Is this a common prob for the SOHC engine? and mileage?
Cheers!
