Ok im thinken about puting a ricer exhaust on my explorer. Ya it sounds like a stupid idea but hey i wanna be Dif.................eny coments.

get a 40 series flowmaster the are relitivly cheep and have a nice deep "flowmaster" sound. also if you put a cone type air filter it makes it sound almost like a V8, that filter also will give it some BALLS. with the ford throttle cable there is about half an inch of slack so it never gets true "full throttle" only about 3/4. If you take up some of the slack on the gas pedel side you will then get full throttle and it makes it sound MEAN!

Depends on what your classify as "ricer" Just getting some import brand as opposed to an American brand? Or getting a bigger muffler instead of a smaller one? What are you looking to get?

be very careful doing the throttle cable mod...before you tighten the cable make shure that the butterfly valve is not opening all the way.

Hey theres a member on hear with that setup, but its true duals coming out the rear. It sounds good to tell the truth. He did some highway pulls in the vid, but i say if your going to do it get a classy type not the $20 ebay and stuff it under the car where no 1 can see it

yeah theres a kid here in Houston with dual glasspacks on his 4.0 ranger and he gets a lot of **** for it

i have tried many diff exhaust systems flowmaster is nice will give you a little deep tone, will give you about 10hp. but i like dynomax, has a much much more deeper tone (like a v8) about the same hp gain as flowmaster

I personally have Magnaflow and I love it. I get compliments on it all the time. At idle it sounds like a small V-8. People actually think that I do have a V-8 at some times just because of the exhaust.
