Right camber bolt on left side of 1999 Ford Explorer gets blocked for removal by fuel lines. PLEASE HELP!

I'm doing upper control arms and lower ball joints on my 1999 Ford Explorer and the right camber bolt on the left side seems impossible to get out without bending a fuel line or removing them altogether. From what I can tell the bolt is one piece with the spacer thing so it needs like 2in by 2in clearance to get the damn thing out. There has to be an easier way right? Thanks in advance

I removed the fuel line retaining screws for a little more flex. Then, discovered that when the bolt is slid out as far as it will go, you can shove the upper control arm inward just enough to allow the bolt to be fully removed. May take a few blows with a BFH to get the arm to move.

I was doing a bit of research and found this bit from 2019 and come to find out you are the original poster. Going to have a go at this tomorrow. Makes it extremely difficult that the bolts and camber spacer are one piece instead of separate. Are the retaining screws easy to get to and is there access from the control arm area or do I go from the engine bay? Thanks.

Nope...did everything from the wheel well. You'll need to rotate the camber bolt in order to find the sweet spot for clearance as you pull it out. Good luck!

My '97 V-6 was the same way. I haven't noticed on my V-8. You can tell that the factory installed the uppers before the fuel line/s.
