Right side directional won't blink even though I changed both front & rear bulbs. I verified that the new bulbs were good with an ohm meter. It got too dark so I'll take another look at tomorrow. Any suggestions? I'm assuming that it's something other than the bulbs. Everything appears Ok, the truck was never in an accident. The wiring was is all factory original.

I would look at the bulbs, fuses, relays and last the multi function switch.

Or you're very low on blinker fluid. :p

Seriously now, it could be your relay.

have you had the recall done on the multifunction switch done yet?
there are 2 Recalls on it one for the switch and one for the harness
Here are the Recall #'s
1 00B40 APR 00 Recall - Multifunction Switch Replacement
2 00S04 APR 00 Recall - Multifunction Switch/Harness Replacement

I don't know how I forgot that blinker fluid! Good call Billy!

Just wanted to thank everyone for the GREAT advise, especially CHECKEDOUT. I wound up checking the blinker fluid as he advised and sure enough it was WAY TOO LOW. Topped it off and the problem was solved. I figured I'm probably low on the other lights, so I topped them off also. Bye the way, I asked the guy at Autozone which fluid I needed and he suggested that I use some "light" weight oil so I went with the 0 weight Mobil 1. Only the best for my explorer....:D

OMG ...was he serious? i hope not....lol
