I have searched a long time on this, and I am still unclear. I want the tires to stick out a decent amount, 31 bfg's. I will go with the 3 3/4 backspacing since most do reccomend, but the extra half inch will be useful. I want to buy rims on ebay with the 3 1/4. I have heard on different threads that this extra half inch out will put a lot of stress on some parts I dunno ball joints or something. Is this totally true or just speculation? Also, its hard to believe that the 1/4 inch will hurt it that much more than the 3/4?? Will the 3/4 hurt also compared to stock, I can't afford to replace any other parts...anyone without opinions?

There will be more stress on the wheel bearings. I would stick with the 3.75"! Good luck
