Howdy everyone. I've recently purchased a set of 4.56's. I was wondering what type of installation kit I'm going to need to provide to the shop doing the work? I've found them anywhere from 43 bucks to 123 bucks. Do I need one with the bearings? Also, I can't seem to find a kit for our Dana 35 IFS front end...perhaps someone here could point me in the correct direction. All help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

You should get a kit that has the pinion bearings and carrier bearings, pinion seal, races, shims, marking compound, and maybe new ring gear bolts. I've always been happy with Richmond Gear install kits, I just reciently used a Timken kit and it was quality also. As to where you can find one for the D35, check Timken and richmond website and get a part number, then goto summit or jegs and enter it in to see if they carry it.

Hope this helps
Chris

Thanks for the info Chris!

Sure thing, and is Kalamazoo a real city?
