Ring&pinion swap

Hey anyone out there done a ring and pinion swap on there Ex.
How hard is it and do you need a whole wack of special tools?
I made a big mistake and put 33" on the truck and found out i have 327 gears.

i just did mine no special tools needed just remember to put lock thread on pinion shaft bolt . and look at you specs and adjust as you go

There are a fair number of tools involved, but I don't know if you would call them "special". To do it correctly, you need a dial indicator (to measure backlash), a torque wrench (to properly install the ring gear to the carrier, and then the carrier to the housing), and a torque meter to measure pinion bearing pre-load.
