RIP 05 Ex, hello 2012

Hey guys, been a while since I posted here.... used to love to work on my 05 explorer, unfortanetly i totalled her. I just purchased a 2012 explorer from the dealer yesterday and I'm going to pick it up tomorrow.

I was just wondering.. is there any after market products out for the 2012 ex? Such as different grills, taillights, ect..?

Also, I'm not sure if my 2012 is coming with HID headlights or not. Regardless, I need HIDs because I couldn't go back to regular headlights after having HIDs for a while! I'm just wondering, are they a pain to install? In my 2005 explorer it was so easy because they made the headlight bulb easily accessible. I didn't have to take off a bumper or anything (which you have to do in some vehicles, which is a pain in the ass). So anyone have any experience on installing HIDs? Just wondering what I could expect...

there's a billet style grill floating around on ebay, but it doesn't look good. that's the only aftermarket grill at the time. there's a few "aftermarket" products like shark fin antenna, nerf bars, bull bar, cgs intake, cgs exhaust, magnaflow exhaust, and that's the jist of it. no major aftermarket products just yet. just the typical mods that become available to redesigned vehicles. if i were to bet, i think next year, we'll start to see more stuff available.

as far as the HIDs, i've heard it was easy installation (don't have to remove bumper). i too will be buying HIDs soon. can't stand halogen lights.
