I have a 98 explorer sport all stock . I get some unpleasent road noise on different types of pavement or slight bumpy roads, it's almost like you can feel every imperfection on the road on the front end of the vehicle and some surfaces it is smooth. I have goodyear wrangler tires and I swapped them from front to the back and it didn't go away . Is their any shocks available that might improve the road noise ? or am I barking up the wrong tree I did bring the truck to the dealer and they didn't find anything wrong and really didn't acknowlege the noise. I have a hard time believing this was like this new. I just bought it a couple of weeks ago and and should of complained before I drove it off the lot, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I think the noise you are hearing is normal. The only way to reduce it is change the tires (think less agressive tread) or add soundproofing to the interior. I don't know much about you tires but in general I believe that LT designated tires are the quitest.
