Where can I get one of those roll bars that go in the truck bed, that you can mount lights on the top? A friend of mine has a Tacoma and is looking for one and I figured someone here would know.
Hey man, nice to see a local on here. when i get done with the explorer we need to go to Rawley. I know all the trails like the back of my hand. Too bad that the closed Kephart though. If you dont want to do mail order for the bar. I'm pretty sure See-More Truck Tops and Customs can get one.

That's exactly what they are, light bars and NOT roll bars even though many people may not put lights on them. They are not designed to protect the vehicle or its occupants. To have a truly safe and effective roll bar it would be the right thickness metal, properly triangulated and tied into the frame.
Please don't let your friend beleive these so called "roll bars" will save you in an off road accident.
In any case if you Google Smittybuilt they might have something for the Tacoma.
