hey guys, what roof basket you use other than thule, any recomendations?

Surco Makes One Its Pretty Good And You Can Buy Optional Light Mount Kits For Your KCs Or Whatever, Part Number For The Basket is # S5050 And The Mount Kit To Set It On Our Sport Trac Roof Racks Is # 1101 I Know This Cause I Just Got Off The Phone With Them right before I Logged On...And Its Way Cheaper Than The Thule Or The Yak.

I measure the roof of my st and found out that the wide is about 44 1/2 mostly to 45 inches, went to surco page and found out that the S4550 will be a better fit to the roof, also were I can find the Axe and Shovel, been looking in lot of web pages, thanks!

I just picked up a yakima load master from craigslist. In my opinion, I think its nicer then the surco.

Check out yakimas site and look at the megawarrior. You can get all kinds of attachments for it ie like your axe/shovel holder also spare tire holder and hi jack lift carrier.

you can get axe and shovel at home depot, lowes, etc.
Aren't the prices on surco's site a little pricey? or is it just me being cheap.
