need hints to install a roof mounted dvd player
I have a chance to get a factory roof mounted dvd player with flip down screen from a 2003 explorer with a moon roof.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience in putting one of these in a Explorer that didn't come equipped with a dvd player.
I have a 2004 with a moon roof so it should be the same.
questions
- will I have to remove the headliner for this? how difficult is that?
- from what I have read the dvd player unit mounts to each side of the moon roof rails or something like that?
- I have a factory 6 CD in-dash radio, will the dvd player hook up to this? i assume with the aux button with the harness I get from this other explorer?
