i'd like to add low-profile lights to my roofrack, but the factory one seems too flimsy. i want to keep the look of the factory ones though.

does anyone know if the perrycraft roofracks will fit in the factory roofrack chanels? will these be more stable then the factory ones?

what other racks would you recomend?

I have a Thule roof rack on my Ex, and it has been great. Not sure if it is exactly what you would be looking for, but it is definitely more durable than the stock rack. Not sure if I have any real good pics of it, but look in my photo gallery and see if there is one that can give you an idea of what its like. If not, I can snap some pics tomorrow and post them.

I've got the Surco Roof Rack and it's very durable. Again not sure if its what your looking for.:)

i'm looking for somthing that looks like the factory cross members, plugs into the factory channels but is much more rugged and will withstand a few small lights on it

Surco racks will fit factory channels and will hold lots of light, tools, a tire and suit cases.

sureco from what i have heard and seen are decent... i personally love the looks of a conferr roof rack, but those are $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Thule has the right kit to apear factory. They are tough and well worth it.
