How hard would it be for me to change the "left trailer turn" relay in my 1996 ford explorer sport? I don't claim to be a mechanic. Is this a task that I could do?

Open the Aux relay box #1 and pull the relay out, install replacement.

left trailer turn relay

When the manual refers to the "left trailer turn relay", is this in reference to the passenger's side or the driver's side of the vehicle and trailer? I changed out the left trailer turn relay but I still don't have turn signals on the trailer's driver's side. Maybe it's the other relay side that's bad.

The left side is the drivers side. If that relay wasn't the cause I'd be looking at the wiring connections at the rear of the vehicle, corrosion maybe.

Thank You. I will check the connection at the plug end.
