Rough Country AAL

These AAL fit 95-97 explorers but are not listed for 98-01 acording to JC Whitney. But as we kno the leafs in 2nd gen Xplorers are interchangable right. So That being said the ones for a 95, 96 or 97 should fit on my 01 sport right?

They should work fine. From the pic they look just like the Pro Comps.

Why not buy from from summit?

Pro comps look to be about the same($10 less). Summit only lists them as 91-97. Whats up with that?

One other question tho... Do you need any additional clamps to secure these to the pack?

No, you don't. The extra leaf is installed typically right above the helper spring in the leaf pack. Buttons right back up after you're done like it was still stock.

My Explorer's driver's side add-a-leaf kept swinging in at the front and would often rub against the gas tank skid pate when the rear suspension cycled. Of course a hammer every now and then fixed this problem but a clamp or whatever might help (if you can find a way to get one on there).
