Ok so I was getting a p0128 code, so I swapped in a new thermo and decided to flush the fluid the best I could while I was in there. I hope I wasnt to liberal with spraying some water in the engine bay on accident and this is causing my problem.
So after this the car developed a slight rough idle/hestitation on accel after it warmed up and was driven a little bit. The problem got worse and it finally threw a misfire code in cylinder 8. Took it by my buddy's shop to read the code and we decided to swap coilpacks from cylinder 2 to try to rule that out. Still running rough and threw another cly8 misfire.
Today I decided to rule the plugs out do those since they are originals w/ 70k. Well the problem is better but still there? Weird because I figured we ruled the coilpack out by swapping? Im worried, maybe possibly damaged the coil pack during removal or got the area too wet?
Maybe an injector now or fuel issue?.
Any ideas?
CN: flushed radiator and possibly got the coils wet or another spark/fuel issue???
