The Explorer is now pushing the 106k and it is starting to get rough with the starting, not the normal turn the key and VVRoooom, ready to go. It jumps to about 1500 rpms and then to almost a stall about 250 rpms, before it evens out at about 700rpms with that it is starting to have a rough idle when sitting in park or when stopped at a traffic light. So was thinking coil, wires, and plugs would help remedy this. So any input would be great.

currently looking at new spark plugs, wires and coil.

Sparks plugs I was thinking of doing Bosch platinum +4 or Bosch fusion or the motorcraft platinums with indexing.
Was thinking for a coil going with either Accel coil or Screamin Deamon.
For wire was thinking the Bosch, MSD, or Accel preformanace wires.

Any recommendations or comments would be greatly appreciated.

If you've got over 106k on your ignition you definitely want to do this.

My personal opinion on parts to use would be any non-Bosch double platinum plugs, Motorcraft or Belden wires and Motorcraft coil but whatever brands you choose will be better new than 100k mile ones. I also like to clean out the throttle body and start the engine once just before changing the plugs, but that's just me.
