not sure if this is the place to post this but ill try it lol. so im sitting in park in my driveway and i notice that i have a really rough idle. i mean i can feel the whole explorer shake everynow and then. it seems to be in the right range between 500 and 700 rpms but it feels real rough. i just had a tune up like 3 months ago so i dont know whats wrong. i have a 2000 explorer xlt sohc. any help would be great.

I would do the following
1) clean your IAC
2) check the wires to make sure they are not resting on the headers which burns them through
3) check vacuum lines to make sure they are not leaking
4) then since you have the SOHC install the TSB kit for th upper intake leak, it is a known issue on the SOHC that the intake orings leak and cause a miss at idle. I think the kit is 00M12 or something like that seach the forums for SOHC and rough idle you will find it.
